What is license code?
License code is used to register (purchase) software.
The registration process switches the software mode from limited (evaluation) to full-featured (paid) mode.

There are different license code types
  • Online license codes
Such codes work with online and semi-online protection schemes
  • Offline license codes
Such codes work with offline protection scheme
License code has many parameters to perform different sale schemes
  • License types (Full, Pro, Lite, Basic, etc)
  • License expiration types (By days after registration, after code creation, directly by date)
When license period is expired, all protected versions of software do not work and they ask for another code.
  • Support expiration types (By days after registration, after code creation, directly by date, by product version)
When support period is expired, further protected versions of software will not work, but there is possibility to use previous versions of software which were created (protected) during support period.
  • Freeze mode (disable new registrations for XX days after registration)
  • License validation (check status of the code on the service)
  • Computers limit (allow only XX computers or one computer for the license code)
  • Automatic blocking rules
